i was dating Kurosawa last two weeks

thanks to JFKL, in conjunction with Akira Kurosawa's centennial celebration, I get to watch some of his masterpieces.

and, i must say, he impresses me. he's really awesome.

my deepest condolences to all the Japanese at the same time.

movies that i only managed to catch during the film festival:

Sanshiro Sugata Part II (姿三四郎续集)

the main actor is very handsome, not very Japanese looking at that era, i supposed. but i don't find his acting engaging.
i like the music very much, as well as the screenplay.


Yojimbo (用心棒)

the main actor is great! he acted so well that the character was so alive!
i don't find the storyline that interesting to sustain at such duration and the plot is not very engaging when it comes to certain point, perhaps too predictable. but i do like the screenplay a lot.

note: same period, HK Film Festival & a few nice theatrical plays were going on in town... please try not to clash good shows again...

始料未及

。海啸。
这令我想起了几年前自己还在做新闻时的一些画面。坐在电脑面前，生硬的手法，剪接着某人以不纯熟手法拍摄的现场画面。远镜头，拍摄的人也许爱莫能助，只能为历史贡献，拍下珍贵的画面。
画面一再被放大，同样的画面不断地出现，那是一个事件的代表性。我剪接着，重复看着，感觉很复杂。现在，如果看新闻频道，依然是这样的感觉。
这一次卷来的海浪，不但卷走了宝贵的性命，还在来回盘旋并席卷着每一个人的心灵。

当灾难越靠越近的时候，我们在乎的是什么，得到的是什么，放下的是什么，又回馈了什么？
作为一个基本的人，我们活着的意义又是什么？

又是天灾，又是人祸~

。印尼--地震

。波兰--飞机失事

。曼谷--乱世政治

。中国（玉树）--地震

。冰岛--火山爆发

我肯定是幸福的！

这几天都累垮了，但很开心。

睡到早上十点才起床。。。吃着妈妈煮的早饭：白粥、麦菜、煎鱼。好吃！
电视播着新中国庆典的士兵检阅仪式；阿妈她都不关心马来西亚日都不闻不问，倒是看起新中国直播来；可见传媒的魅力啊~
手机摆在房间里，我确实享受不受电话干扰的早晨。
安乐地、奢侈地、自私地过了我美好的时光，我终于肯面对现实了。

翻开报章，读着一则又一则的天灾新闻。昨晚在剪接室感到的余震，我忽然感到一阵晕眩。
阿花说昨天在“书脸”说，如果在这里我们都感受到这么多，那么当地的居民。。。说来写来又一阵心酸。

回到现实，折好报纸，上楼换上衣服，接着开车上班去了。

你说，我是不是很幸福？简直就是幸福极了！

南马水患

看来，只管风花雪月的我没有太留意这个半岛水患的灾情。

南马总是一个多事之地，从之前的攫夺夺命案、新旧首相之新柔长堤争议到现在的水患，焦点背景都是这一带。

现在的灾情算是缓和下来了，有心人出钱出力，现在是善后阶段吧。
赈灾，我没有份，但良心还算过意得去。。。这样不算太黑心吧？

没什么啦，只是觉得，如果是一开始就写关于这个新闻，除了同情，就是痛骂政府一顿；我想，这个角色不少人已经演得炉火纯青了，我不需要锦上添花。

无论如何，我再多无谓的字眼，也只是增添我的‘无谓感’。。。
在这里，用我廉价的心，给灾黎们献上祝福；离开我们的，也愿他们得到解脱。。。
