yesterday

it was a long day.

early in the morning, i got a text from my main talent, YF. she is having high fever and can't make it for the shoot. i don't have much time to consider and finally came up with a decision.

i took up her role.

this was the second time i directed my own short film. the first one was at 2006. and this one is a lot tougher. i was not panicking, but i was stressed.

keep on being in the mood and getting out of it is not an easy task. utmost, i'm not prepared.

we were back schedule in the end, as predicted, and it finally finished without a car scene at 11p.m. five of us, exhausted and exploded (tang exclaimed that when i told her Raz asked if it was exhilarating).

the shoot is quite done except for the car scene that i'm going to do it later or tomorrow. but somehow, i feel like i'm still in a mess.

did i do the wrong decision of not postponing the shoot and be the talent instead?

then i thought, its no use to cry over spilt milk. as a matter of fact, its done. (though tang did advise on re-shoot)

i'd want to edit it as soon as possible, to see if i achieved the flow at least if not the acting that pumps in life to my story.

a pool of mud water... please get it cleared...

the HAPPENING

... is not so 'happening'.

another film made to tell people about consequences to our earth-abusing actions. i like the theme and idea of plants-attacked, but i don't like the ending.

when will we get sparks like we got from Sixth Sense again?

kungfu panda

okay, it is supposed to be FARNEE and it is. but the best part is, i love the PANDA! it is flabby, fleshy and funny (again). i love its tummy!

i'm not really an expert in animation, but i can see that these people are really doing a great job for each animal, even the 'villagers'. okay... i must admit that for one in particular, i 'mosaic' it manually.

the second character that i like has to be Shifu! this mousy-like master makes a great combination with Po, the panda! okay, i must admit again, i only started to like it at the end scene of the story where he wanted to 'rest in peace'.

well, not to preach but the moral of the story is just as simple as the moral itself.
one must have faith and belief. "there are no accidents."

let's end this entry with the Oogway saying:

看了电影过后，我没办法不为William Wilberforce所做的一切为之感动。当下，在电影院里，我想，我们大马可曾有过这么一号人物？他牺牲了青春、健康，只为执著于自己的理念。而这个理念，并没有为他带来什么好处，他满脑子想的，是离他国家很遥远、素未谋面的一些人。
尔后，他结婚了；因果循环是真的，因为他找到了一位知己，跟他组织了一个家庭。至少那是属于他的。

目前的政坛已经没有纯政治抱负了。也许每一个人的抱负都从不实际的理念，变成了切切实实的金钱。
