movie marathon
within 24 hours, i watched 3 different genre of movies, and that is...hard to digest...
it all started with Yumi's premiere on A PIE IN THE SKY (PIE) at night, then the TRANSFORMERS (T) midnight show, and last but not the least IRREVERSIBLE (IR) around 11a.m. after i woke up the next day.
Yumi's PIE...it is really weird to see myself acting...especially when the acting is BAD. *sigh*
its a really sincere piece from Yumi, put all her effort in, trying to get a balance between the technical limitations and her creativity. wish she can excel and of course, get some recognitions from some film festivals and/or awards. good job!
IR is a French film that i've heard about for ages. some said its disturbing, some said its brilliant, some said Monica is...real in the rape scene. yes, you just can't shut your mind off from that scene and keep thinking she's hot in the last reverse part. u might think so in her other movies.
the moral of the film is vivid. IRREVERSIBLE as it is its film title. so, don't do something that you'll regret. be calm in every decision that u want to take. at least, try.
T is a movie that i thought i'll not watch, as i'm not fancy of it when i was a kid. but after all the stories i heard from people who watched it, i decided to watch, and to feel the atmosphere. abit 'kiasu'? no, a lot.
and i think, T is quite a nice movie. even if you don't have all the childhood memories with you, you'll be fascinated by the robots in the movie. and the plot is nicely developed, no boring parts. i must not forget to mention, the girl is drop dead sexy. yes, i'm referring to the scene where she check his car. O-M-G! ;)
